HOW TO CATCH A MINK IN IRELAND

Hey this is Joseph Carter, it's funny that the only comment you have so far is in reference to me LOL I was curious how typical that is for you to have them come in like that. I've used squeaking to get a mink to stick its head out of its hole for a moment, thus revealing where it is at, but I didn't think most mink would travel that far just to investigate a squeak! Would you say coming in like this mink did is pretty normal, or is it rather rare for you to see one quite as bold as this one?

Joseph Carter the Mink Man Hey Joe subscriber here. They will come in like that for a rabbit call. A good few years ago a bunch of hippies let them loose from a fur farm in ireland. They have no predators here in Ireland so they are very braizing/bold.

Hi Joseph, I've sent you a request on Facebook! There is also a group on there called UK Mink Trappers, showing young children holding up dead mink.. Which I think is a tragedy. Maybe you can join the group, and educute these cruel people into what fantastic and interesting predators Mink really are. You need a license to keep one in the UK, as well as regular inspections. How ridiculous!

It might not be. In Ireland they will come up close to you like that. Had happened to me while out fishing.
