it’s not a komodo, they look different and the komodo is bigger and not as colourful. part of the same family of the monitor lizards but they are obviously different and komodo’s only live on the komodo island and nearby islands they’ve swimmed to. stop saying it’s a komodo if you don’t even know it is, it’s like using words that you don’t know the meaning of.

I’ve seen many nature shows but I’ve never seen a host say they tether the animal to make sure it doesn’t escape with a rope on it. Very good to tell people! Favorite bit: Mark, “It’s alright. I can make due...” as *Coyote* is posing a pissed off monitor lizard. Get whipped and scratched but Mark is still the sassy one 😂.

I grew up around these guys! They get HUGE! I remember one that was much longer than a meter. They sometimes made their way into our home and we had to get them back to the dam. Tail whips HURT! I didn't know you were in South Africa!
