I don’t eat the fish. You can keep them depending on the size. I don’t really know of largemouth bass are good eating or not.

Did you only have luck with topwaters early in the morning? I've been trying to learn to fish Mead in this heat midday, and only been catching a few on deep crankbaits

The mid day bite was much tougher. The morning topwater bite was much better. If there had been a slight breeze i think i could have caught topwater fish mid day as well.

@@MattLunaFishing Thank you. Do you have any tips for mid day fishing in the heat in a lake like Mead? I see fish jumping all day, but think they might be carp? I would expect bass to be a little deeper, so something like jigs or drop shot?
