Look for high barometric pressure over 1020 in Australian measurements. Fish seem to bite better then. Check your local area weather observations on the Bureau of Meteorology site. I don't usually tell people this tip, but coz it must be so difficult for you physically I thought I'd help out.

Good vid, may I make a suggestion, let's start some thing that's needed, at the time you post your vid, there is a date on here, but it would be realy beneficial to do like a diary, like ummm Date fished Moon phase Tide times Barometer Position ( where ) Target species What this does is allows the master fish to communicate with the fisherman, it's all very well just another fishing vid, but to teach a man to fish to feed his family is another thing all together, just a thought, your channel is great, just I've been looking for that edge that makes a difference, Davi b

The best is Yet to be 4’ 2/0 or 3/0 with weight to match depth and flow. 2.5’ 1/0 fine gauge with weight to match depth and flow. Where this video was taken the depth is less than 1.5 meters so 1/6 is fine.
