Awesome vid. I'm South African, but my mother is from Zim. She grew up in Bulawayo. We used to visit her side of the family in Bulawayo almost every Christmas and I have fond memories of catching big bream, bass and tigerfish there. Sadly most of her side of the family has emigrated. Zim is a beautiful country with awesome freshwater fishing to be had. I miss it

Awesome man, I’m similar to you! My mom is South African and dad Zimbabwean, but normally we go to SA for Christmas to the beach and a bit of salt water fishing! Zim is a great destination and we are so lucky, thanks so much for your support!

Nice vid guys You live a lot of people’s dream Only one thing We fish the Kavango river a lot and we are always wary of crocodiles I know there in your dam is crocs Just a hint.... Don’t stay too long on one spot Crocodiles get a target lock on something on the bank and then stalk it’s prey The moment you move away the crocodile abandon it’s plan Also when you catch a couple of fish in the same spot....the sound and vibration call them closer Just concerned about you guys safety!! But anyway- I love your videos!! Keep it up
@ThisisAfricaOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the concerns! There are not many huge crocs in the dam (it’s very rare to see them in that particular section of the dam) sadly there is not much bank access that is in a safe area from Elephants and Buffalo, that’s why we stay in one spot. But we are always looking out for them!

Adnaan Mussa13 we got half a drum put some soil into it, then continually put compost such as kitchen waste, but don’t put meat or lemons or oranges in. Then add some worms.
