I'll be dammed, grew up in Briz before moving to the NT for Policing. My memories of the Logan and Briz river were of filth and never eating anything that was unfortunate enough to live in them. Having watched your vid's i'm amazed. Certainly have come a great way forward and looks like they fish as good as any of the great spots up in the territory. Great vids, hopefully inspires some of the degenerate youth to get out and about doing some great clean fun. Keep it up!

Hey mate, im thinking of creating a youtube fishing channel, using drones as well as GoPro's to film the footage, would you think this would be a good decision? Also you ever thought of doing a fishing giveaway? Anyway, love your channel!!! GJ

Nice informative video guy's, awesome to see a nice feed of muddies land based. Do you prefer to use fish baits over chicken baits?.
@teammadmullet8 жыл бұрын
chicken frames works well but i do prefer oily baiys like tuna and mullet
@westysfishingadventures57058 жыл бұрын
Normally a fish bait guy myself, especially luderick (blackfish). But this season the Clarence river crabs have been loving chicken wings, compared to fish baits.

Love your videos mate, with the opera house nets though, you know they're illegal right? I know they are in Victoria not sure about NSW but it might be worth checking.
@toshtwelve41158 жыл бұрын
This is referring to the Somerset dam redclaw video.
Thanks for replying both of you!!! I recently was warned about it by a mate of mine who got fined. In vic tori a they're banned because they can catch native animals such as platypus, native water rats and birds. I've had to find a different type of trap that I can leave out to catch them.

like the vids mate but the alright guys at the start of everything you say gets quite annoying. I do it myself when making videos but find when I edit the videos I can just edit it out and it works fine. Might be worth a shot for you.

do you guys ever have trouble with pot thieves or just guys checking your pots? so sick of it happening.
@teammadmullet8 жыл бұрын
we always stay in the area mate.. i got sick of pot theives. 6 went missing at x mas
@matray698 жыл бұрын
yeah I had 2 go missing while I was chatting to a guy fishing just up from my pots in the south pine. had to go to greater lengths to stop it from happening but I think I have found a spot that always produces and boats can't get to and it's hidden from view unless you walk inside the mangrove block. so I have been lucky. nice video. I always thought about doing a whole bunch of the same videos as I pretty much have done the same things since I was a kid growing up in nudgee.

@westysfishingadventures57058 жыл бұрын
I agree staying in the area, I fish the Clarence and smaller rivers around Grafton, Last season I lost 12 traps, after the 12th I got pretty uptight and mounted a GoPro above the trap with a message on an alloy plate zip tied to the trap Smile for the camera. The two grubs looked about like gooses for a minute or so and threw the trap in the boat with other traps. I got some very good footage and so did the fisheries of them, their boat and their rego.
