For anyone struggling i suggest you use R.O.D (you can repalce it with kings rod or any rod thats goo dfor big fish) with controlled,steady, or resilience and use seaweed bait just to make sure cuz before i got my first megalodon i fumbled it 6 times or if you dont wanna do allat just use deep coral any bait that adds resilience

the only thing is just that it spawns randomly, and many people come in a public. so most likely you will not get it at all, unless you have insanely good luck. it depends on your boat too.
