How to change 2020 Kia Sorento alternator

On some videos they remove from the top. Taking the fan out. To prevent messing with the AC. But I see only videos of older models. Do you think it's possible on a 2018?

No I do think it’s possible with the design of the engine in the later models the only way to reach the bolts is from the underside and that’s by removing the a/c compressor I’m sorry but they make cars less and less mechanic friendly every year.

Thanks! Did you have to do anything to the AC system after the replacement? Like add something or priming? Gas, freon?
