Not every year has an access panel from under the bucket seats. I have a 2016 SE 2.0L and you have to lower the gas tank to access.

Fuel is still shooting out the fuel line even after I disconnected the negative battery cable.

you hock up back the connection the same way you take it out it is on top after you finish set the pump in and the ring i hope that help you
