For those of you wondering, my nikola has 5000km on the clock and the tyre has about 1.3mm of thread left, brand new thread has 4-4.2mm thread so about 1000km eats away 0.6mm of thread

Thanks for this! Just wondering how many miles were on your Nik when you changed the tire? I've got a 2.7 KWh Nik+. I just love it. I was surprised what a difference a new tire made on my V8 after 2700 miles. Some rain today, so no wheeling. :( I ride almost every day. 15-20 miles per day on the V8 and 20-35 per day on the Nik. Went my furthest the day before yesterday, 50 miles. With speeds between 25-35 mph, because of riding on the roads with cars. I'd rather ride slower to the side or in a bike lane, yet there are only a few places here in Maine with them. Its either the rough sidewalks or the streets. Oh well. WE RIDE! Peace from Maine...Guy

Very helpful. Any idea of torque settings?

Any recommendations for step 7. Disconnecting the battery is easy but the three cables to the board is a bit tougher to remove. Do they just wiggle off?

these small plastic pieces on the lower section are a nightmare. I just wished they could be removed as easy as on this video. Pulling out and up, for hours. Both stuck.

My tire has nowhere near this much give to reinsert the inner tube. Any idea why that might be?

A worn tire has more area around the bead to slip off. One of the techniques for working with new tires is to preheat it with a hairdryer, or heatgun, should help the process along.
