Oh my goodness, thank you, thank you, thank you! This should be a public information broadcast on tv several nights a week to help put an end to the wiggly seat replacement dilemma. That is the clearest most brilliant demo of how to completely change a seat and all it's bolts on an enclosed toilet - I thought it was impossible to do without removing the whole damn toilet, but now, thanks to you I know. I had a wobbly seat too! I could just about get my hand behind the unit and felt what I thought was a 'wing nut' but the whole 'spindle' kept turning round and round. I then thought I would just see if someone had put some information on the 'net' and up came this video. Problem solved in moments. Thank you so much for uploading the film. I did not even have to buy any new fixings! So easy!!

Thanks for that. We had one of these softclose seats fitted while we were on holiday, so I didn't see how it was fitted. Now it is all wobley, so I think I can have a go at fixing it. Brill!

Hi, I hope someone still reads this. So, I bought one, installed it, was easy enough. Job well done, I thought. When I took a final look I realized I forgot the screw protection caps, the silver ones. - shame! - Since the seat snapped in place I can't install them anymore. How to remove the seat without damaging it? Cheers

I dunno what make my toilet is. It's D shaped but the hinges look like nothing I've ever seen. They're cylindrical (like a speed bump) and I've looked online for examples and they're nowhere. There's no bolts access underneath like on this video. Anyone can help advise?

I agree with all the positive comments here. Saved us calling out a plumber as could not figure out how it all went together.
