This is an all-wheel-drive Qashqai. The more common front-wheel-drive ones do not have a rear driveshaft and there is no shaft bolt and pin to remove, so it's a little bit easier. There are simply the four bolts on the rear along with the ABS sensor. Even so, the bolts are fiddly to get to and require a ratchet extension, as seen here.

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, in general, the replacement procedure is similar, there may be constructive differences. For this replacement, it is necessary to have a whole special tool and hydraulic press.Best regards, Autodoc.

Never set new hubs with an impact wrench. Nor the wheel lugs with one. Using a manual torque wrench set at oem specs after snugging them up with a plain old socket and ratchet is how the real professionals do it. You are damaging and stressing parts, guaranteeing your customers will either stupidly return for the same repair within a year or after your repair fails even within warranty time? That they will look for someone else and another garage that can permanently fix their problem. Tearing old parts down with an impact is okay. Reassembly to factory spec requires manual tools and finesse. Power tools used in reassembly is lazy and dangerously stupid.

Copper Grease on the Hub face behind the Wheel an absolute 'no no'. Causes dissimilar metal corrosion in most Aluminium Wheel applications. Basics!

Nice video, but he didn't torque the bearing bolts. I assume there is a torque setting for them.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to specify the tightening torque, this information can be found in the technical documentation for the repair of your car. AUTODOC
