how did you remove the lower bolt of the upper timing cover ??

You can follow my video you’ll see it. You have to use that 10 wrench and got to remove the battery to get confortable to loosing it up

I have a similar job ,mine snapped while I was driving (rav4 1998 model) so once am done with the bottom part with all marks in place,there are not marks to follow on the camshaft?

There are marks you just have to take a flash light and you will see it the little dot.
