Great instructions. At the end of all that, I always go round and pinch the tyre such that both edges come away from the rim. This is to double check that they have seated properly, and is from experience of having the tyre bulge away from the wheel on inflating it because it hasn't seated properly. There's more to changing a tyre than it looks, and there are tips and tricks to make it work, so I think it is really great that you did this video.

How do you decide when the tyre needs changing? Mine it is when it is through to the threads :-)

Yea exactly, I'm usually the same to be honest... Tyres are expensive! I flip them first so they last twice as long. Little tip for dusty floors, give them a clean before training with some water and a rag.If they're really dirty, give them a good scrub! It helps increase the friction with the floor... less drifting!

@robynlove3151 when your starting to lose traction, after rubbing down with water 'give them a rub with distilled vinegar, it makes the silicone more sticky on the IRCs, I like them but I'm going to give the dunk Kings a go.

This was very helpful, thanks. Changed my tyres today. It may have taken all afternoon, and I have a couple of blisters now… any tips for getting the inner tube out?

Great to hear, you have to start somewhere! You will figure out a way that is quickest and easiest for you... Inner tube... I usually get the 1st side of the tyre out, then tease the tube out starting at the opposite end from the valve - deflate it as much as you can - then I will take the other side of the tyre off :-) Hope that makes sense!

How much psi should I put in the tyre? I have the same one

Should say on the tyre, most wheelchair sports tyres are good for about 100psi, but check first on the tyre.

I usually do 100-110 depending on the tyre. If the floor is super uneven then reduce the psi to increase the surface area on the floor, I had to do this at the 2018 World Championships :-)
