Good video! Not all AK users know that you can start the scooter with NFC key if battery is gone. It's not even explained in user manual.

What is NFC key? All I saw him do was place the Fob on the console dot....also, is the button on the key fob just for checking the battery?

@@JEFFQUICKLE9 yes the button is for checking battery only. NFC key is a physical NFC chip stored into the AK key. If its battery is gone you can simply put the key over the right side of the AK console, and turn on the scooter as usual, as you saw in the video. The only difference is that In my AK( it's a 2019 model) I don't need to wait so much time, I put the key over there, push the button and turn the knob immediately.

the cover came with the scooter, dont know if you can buy it separate, ask your local kymco.

It's stock cover. It comes with all two keys

Your keyless unlock thingy is working fine or have you faced any issues with it?

I had in the beginning, got it replaced in warranty, it's a known problem.

I agree www.batteries.gr/ is a great place. I've used them for years. Also, be careful with your key, the replacement costs over €800.

When you changed tires ? How many km ? I have 24.000km

Usually you change every 15.000km I did change at 22.000km my first set.

You should have spoken through the whole thing....since it looked like you struggled getting the plastic pieces apart and we cannot tell exactly how you finally got them apart....

My ignition working without key 😞😥😰. I don't know what it is. I can start engine without the key...

Faulty part, go and replace it immediately. They will do it for free even outside warranty, it's a known problem in the early ones.

Dont mind about warranty, it's a major fault by them. They should replace. Here in Greece I got a guarantee that they will replace any known problem for free even outside warranty.

If you replaced 1 year ago you have one more year on that part.
