Changing the 12v battery in a 2015 Opel Movano. Don´t forget to have the radio code before you disconnect the battery.

Hey there, hoped you enjoyed the video! Just wanted to say NO, I did not coat the terminals with dielectric grease. This was a field job and I did not have access to all of my equipment. Besides, the terminals were in great condition and the battery lives in a very protected environment.

Did you have to reset the ECU or any module after doing this?
@ejoautovideos5 жыл бұрын
No, nothing like that. Just had to reset the radio with the 4-digit code that came with the car, as well as the clock. Thanks for watching!

My battery died this winter, after 3 + years old. I'll go get another one tomorrow and replace it ... Renault Master 2019 , dc player radio.

What's the actual reason for putting the battery there?

French vehicles are not built with any thought.. I have the misfortune of having to driving one for work. Seat belt locks and won't release until the dung mound comes to a stop or lifting off the brake then releases (very dangerous at junctions)!

@@speedoman1234 what year is your Master , mine does not have the same release ,as your one , I can unlatch the seatbelt at anytime ,

@@uptowndisco2 I don't mean releasing the buckle.. There is some safety device fitted that locks the reel mech if the vehicle is braking moderately, pinning the driver to the seat back hence not being able to lean forward to look at blind spot at junctions. I can also add the gearbox/clutch are carved out of brie and cannot tolerate a light thrashing. The VW crafter is the best van.
