Why'd you fill it up in the oil filter area? I jus bought a Husky FC450. So I'm new to this. Thanks.

The manual says to fill it up 1/3 of the way. Probably just to ensure the filter is well oiled on the outside of the filter as the oil will come directly from the inside of the filter from the oil pan.

Roughly every 10 hours of riding. Take a few depending on how hard you ride. Every ride or every other would be killer man.

You’re welcome! I clean mine with warm water and a little bit of blue dawn dish soap. Soak and squeeze out until clean. Don’t twist. then let it sit out in the sun until it’s dry. Buy air filter oil and spray it on heavily. I clean and oil mine every 3-5 rides!
