How to Change EP3 Centre Console Bulbs & Announcement at the End - PerformanceCars

I change the centre console bulbs in this JDM EP3 as a majority of them are blown. They're pretty easy to do once you follow these steps.

Bulbs for Air Con/Rear Screen/Recirculate Air Buttons - 79609S5A003 - 2 required
Bulbs for Heater/Fan/Air Mode Knobs - 39397SA5003 - 2 required

Just want to say thanks for this video. I'm changing my ep3 from single din to double and the pace of your video is perfect! Nothing skipped or glossed over, you explain the tools needed and where bolts and screws are. This is greatly appreciated and I'll subscribe for more ep3 videos! The small bulbs at 7:12 are those t5 ? I want to replace them with led lights but i dont know if u can even do that or if the light is stuck to the plastic piece

Hi, I was just wondering, what colour was the bulbs once they are turned on? Are they red? I’ve got a Honda Civic with a light green backlight on all the controls and I want to change them to red. Great video btw👍🏾

Hey, Diarmuid has got it spot on. It is an EG SiR and my very first car from my dad. I have neglected it since 2009 😅😳😱 I will bring it out soon.

thanks good info. here they just tell u to replace the whole switch not knowing there are bulbs. will get the bulbs now with new ones. thanks again. I have a 05 Honda Hatchback Si i am restoring. so keep posting good info.

Cool video, as always. Presumably it's a pre facelift? with facelift light conversions. The obvious reason I say this is because of the all red recaro seats. Lovely Ep3 jdm; I have one also. That's a lot of hp in that car, I like the fact it's n/a. I can't tell year because of private plate. Looking forward to seeing the spoon goodies on the car. Another quick question I have just purchased a set of Michelin pilot sport 4's the grip is supposed to be phenomenal... have you any experience with these? 👌🏻

Hey JDMsweetness, it is indeed a prefacelift with facelift bits on it. Super hard to source the genuine JDM EP3 facelift headlights though as it has the HID ballast hole at the bottom. Is yours a facelift JDM? Looks nice just from the profile pic. The Pilot Sport 4's are great tyres. Better than the Pilot Sport 3's which I use on my race car. Only thing I don't really like about Michelins are the soft sidewalls. They tend to give a little more tyre flex during hard corners as opposed to for example Yokohama AD08R's. Many performance cars are now using AD08R's, give them a try next 👍😊

Think it will have been a cat mate a fox would have scratched the sh&t out of it. The EP3 is lovely barring the rear fog, hate when they chop the bumper like that.

I was hoping for someone to tell me if it was a cat or fox. The prints made me think of a cat even though I don't know much about cats. I shall have to have a word with this cat as it just did it again!! It is a shame that they had to cut into the bumper but this happens for the VOSA test 😔
