How to Change Font Size For Specific Apps on Your iPhone or iPad

Normally there is an option in iOS and iPadOS to increase or decrease the Font or Text size in the Display & Brightness / Accessibility Settings. Adjusting iPhone font size from these settings will reflect on all the apps. But If you just want to change the text size for your favorite app that has very small text or very large then you can adjust the font size for these apps only. You must have iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 to adjust the font size for the individual apps.

This is the minimum level 80%, you can’t go further lower than that, either from Accessibility or from the Control Center settings.

But this works just for iPhone apps. Not third party apps like Lyft and Google maps.

Yes, there’s is a Zoom feature. If maximum font size settings isn’t enough for you then you can use that too. Specially when apps like KZbin doesn’t allow to use the font size feature, Zoom will be helpful. Thanks for adding something and sharing about Zoom feature.

If only this worked for all third party apps. I really need it to work on my Uber driver app and it doesn’t. The font on the Uber app is so small and no matter how much I try increasing it via the settings it doesn’t affect the Uber app. It is quite dangerous for drivers

Uber might have built in options to increase or decrease the font size, you should look for the settings in the Uber app. Click the user/settings icon in the App to change font size.

Change System Font Setting Go to Settings > Display > Font size Change size with zoom settings Go to Settings > Accessibility > Magnification gestures, and turn it On.
