In this second video on changing lanes, I discuss flashers, verifications, safe distances, speed, practicing on empty streets, using obstacles to change lanes (and not waiting too much after you passed them to do so), changing lanes on streets where there are no visible lines, and adapting to the speed of other vehicles.

Thanks to this channel and many others I passed my road test today after failing twice!!!! guys practise practise practise! And if you know what your doing, remind yourself that you do know!!! Stay confident! Sleep, breathe, eat, and drink LOTS of water...use the bathroom FULLY before u take the test...and once again...BREATHE!!! i have anxiety issues, so yes, it helps!!!

thanks for these videos! 😬 they're all so comprehensive & it helps with improving my lane changing today! my instructor written down i made an abrupt lane changing on my checklist yesterday & i was pondering when did i do that??? afterwards i realized maybe i depress the accelerator way too much. on a side note, when the road is congested, remember to slow down your speed in order to lane change smoothly!! 😋

That last tip was so good. I passed my G (I guess I got a bit lucky ^^) but I've always had an issue with changing lanes. That tip was pretty nifty, made sense and was explained well/logically.

I’ve had my license since January 2022, unfortunately I find that in Quebec when you do it by the book, like you’re taught in driving schools, other drivers will speed up and make it harder to change lanes safely. During rush hour near the métropolitaine I signalled and started turning while my lane was at a standstill, my car was 1/4 in the lane and every car went around mine. I had to force the car behind me to stop by cutting them, if you play it too safe you’ll be sitting there for hours.
