For those who’ve been having trouble removing the led light harness, once you push back the blue tab, you then need to push back the end tip on the blue tab and that will lift it from the two nubs. At the same time, pull and it should come out very easily. No need to pry it with a screwdriver.

If you are talking about the rear personal lights on each side that click on and off, I was able to get those. Huge pain though. Just take your trim tool and and try to pop the front side out first (the side with the button). The other side is clipped on real good, but with enough effort it should come out or pull down enough to let you pull the bulb out and stick the LED in. The entire assembly will come out. They also use the wedge end type bulbs.

Im really having a hard time removing the lock using a small screw driver, i dont know where to insert it. Hmmmmm

What is the secondary piece? What you are doing with the screwdriver? It is not visible. I was able to remove the light but was not able to wiggle and remove the light.

The light is all 1 piece. The actual bulb doesn't come out, just the plastic housing

@@blacksharkus I'm not trying to remove the bulb. I want to remove the whole piece from the harness. But the harness is very tight. You did something with the flat head screwdriver? What is that? It's not visible in the video. After sliding the blue clip what do I have to do?

@@rthiaga oh after sliding that locking piece, I sort of stuck my small screwdriver in there, wedged it & pushed forward if that makes sense. It's hard to explain & wasn't easy to record. It's a pain but it'll come loose.

I have a 21 Rogue and Yeah I also cannot get past unlocking the blue piece. I do not see what a do after that as it’s not coming loose. I’m sure others also have that issue so if you could either provide a better video or explanation that would really help our 21 Rogue community!

With a little patient, you can replace just the bulbs, same bulbs as the interior ones.
