Hey little trick for when you're taking one of the arms off before you pull the wires through attach a piece of dental floss to the wires and pull it through with them is through with them and then when you pull the wires out of the arm with the motor keep that piece of floss on there That way when you go to put a new motor in if you do not have an arm you pull that piece of floss and it is no longer tricky to get the wires through This is an electrician trick You can use on many different applications Not just electronics or wiring either Also I need to repair the rear left arm on my drone where did you get yours Mine is a Mini 2

Hi Adam, funny that you do a video on repairing a dji mini quad when I am thinking of purchasing one and was wondering how crash resistant they were and how easy they are to repair. I am in 2 minds about getting the insurance where dji will fix it or replace it for a minimal cost but at around £60 gbp it aint cheap if you dont use it , I could get another battery instead for that price which I would use 😁. Keep up the great work mate excellent vid as always . Stu

nice job! I missed my "crashed " DJI Mini 2 drone :( It was damaged after it hit a tree branch and landed hard on the hard driveway of my neighbor's while attempting to fly it at night (started flying out of control)

How do you diagnose a bad motor? I got a motor error warning the other day, and then a few seconds later, the drone dropped out of the sky, but all 4 motors seem to be working now!

Can you tell me why the dji drone (eg dji mini 2) runs out of battery, so why when I have charged the battery to use it, I want to store it for a long time without fully discharging it. Just like when the new dji sold, thank you!

As I understand it, those batteries are made to "self discharge" automatically to increase the lifespan of the battery. Which makes sense in the long run, but is inconvenient in the short term.

I did this with a new arm and motor, but not my drone wont take off. No error messages, and the motor spins fine, but when i try to take off the drone leans towards that arm and spins out. Checked wiring, and it seems fine. Pls help.

Maybe the propeller blades are on wrong (they should match the opposite diagonal motor). the motor could be spinning in the wrong direction, but that is unlikely since the wires are labeled (but if it is, all you have to do is switch two of the three motor wires).

@@RCwithAdam1 thanks for responding man. I checked the props and they are good, but I left some information that I thought was irrelevant out. There’s a little foam piece that inserts to each arm, that I lost for the rear arm I replaced. I thought it wouldn’t make a difference, but I think it could be my issue?

BS, I put a new motor and ended up getter the error code after I put a new motor. Never had it until the motor swap, even after a crash. Just a previous ESC error code that would only allow intermittent flying.

You should get a DJI mavic may need to because he’s build quality is better and the props are stronger and faster and the records at 4K And goes 10 km
