it seems many here, including myself (helping a friend), are hung up on the seat removal aspect of getting to the battery and sure enough its the main part of the vid' that's missing. in addition many comments are relative to removal of the seat (how to) and no helpful response has been given from what i can see. kinda sorta makes the whole thing pretty damn useless. if your scooter is at all similar to the one I'm dealing with (Fortress S425) this here link may be of assistance ... www.manualslib.com/manual/1047225/Sterling-S400.html pg. 15 vaguely details & illustrates seat removal (for battery access & charging). hope that helps someone out there.

probably screwed together, and the apex batteries are smaller than the ones in the video. Probably better to go to a shop and get them fitted and recycled - mine cost £100 with a guarantee

It's in neutral, should be a lever at the back or side to put into gear.
