Thank you. It's always so nice to check how it's done before doing it by yourself.

If you clean your sump plug, make sure it's bone dry before you put it back in or better yet use some brake cleaner and before you chuck the oil back in make sure your engine is cold, you don't wanna go adding extra heat treatment lol, but otherwise spot on tutorial 🤙

Old oil is usable for alot of things. I use to soak anything whats seazed rusty and chains. You can use oil and some other substance to paint fences.

+josh wren every 1800 miles as per yamaha service intervals, the oil filter has a hole in fill with oil to the brim then insert into oil filter holder

My oil fuse just doesn't want to open up... What can I do?
@devaynefurey9658 жыл бұрын
Do you need to bleed oil out if your just adding new oil no change also is it too late when your bike starts clicking as light has no come on yet but clicks slightly some times I've done are 10 miles since started thanks
@TwoWheelReview8 жыл бұрын
If you're just topping up your oil no need to change the oil completely until your next service interval

is it a dry sump or wet sump? your new drz400sm is a dry sump so you have to drain oil from frame as well as engine in multiple locations.

+REVBOMBTOM 17 its a great bike, so much fun even at low speeds, ive owned sports bikes before but you really have to rev the nuts off them to have fun whereas slow wheelies and twistys on supermotos are just as fun, congrats on the bike and enjoy it as the weather is getting bad!

REVBOMBTOM 17 glad to hear, saving every penny from the dealer as a teen is a must, id rather throw more money at the bike, gear, trips than pay labour and learn about the bike in the meantime

Do all bikes have oil filters? Also, do 4 strokes have a gearbox oil?
@TwoWheelReview9 жыл бұрын
+Ross RS yes they have oil filters, on 4 strokes the gearbox oil isi not separate unlike a 2 stroke, all the oil is together lubricating the whole engine on a 4 stroke

If it said oil it doesn’t mean change it, that’s just how many miles you’ve done on the engine but you can do oil changes as often as you want I do one once every 2 months
