You drained all the oil out of the engine…. THEN you reversed it up on the ramps!? Was that just an editing mistake? Because if you ran your 1ZZ with no oil in it that would completely toast that engine lol

Yes, I hate that part too. Worse is removing the filter! You gotta crawl deep underneath to get to it.

Drain plug torque is 29 ft lbs on the 3SGTE and 14 ft lbs on the 5SFE, and oil filter torque is hand tight not finger tight. Also drive it up on the ramps before draining the oil?

Hi Patrick, there are various products for vinyl and cloth tops. A lot of people like using 303. Check them out on Amazon. My top is cloth.
