No.if it is red you pulled the transmission fluid. Oil is golden brown

Hi. Just a quick question. It look to me you was tighten the nut to loosen it and you was loosen to tighten it back.

I wonder why the 2025 trax takes 0w20 when the 2024 takes 5w30?

That's a good ? It is basically the same oil . 5W30. And 0W. But if I was you go with the 5W30. And check your dealership too

The engine is slightly different in that it is e85 rated. Perhaps that dictated the change?

Change it often. The wet timing belt can react with old oil. I would go about 5000.

Hey brother with all the back splash on the side of your car & the tires past fender eBay exact fit no drill splash-mud guards it took only one hour to install, didn't even have to take tires off & I'm not a mechanic good luck always

Those oils are similar, I been using 5w30 4 quarters. Check again by the dealer though.

No oil covers . You good to go. If you was close I would show you . It is easy. I hated the oil Trax . But everyday I get thumbs up. You made a good purchase

When I google 2024 trax engine oil capacity, it says its 4.75 qts, are you sure 4 qts is enough ?

You are correct. They say! Change oil every 7,500 miles on a Trax but I change way before that about 4,000 miles .

Manual says 4.2 quart with the filter.

@@onecoolmike8005 I changed my first oil at 730km (450 miles). Planning my next change at 5700km (3540 miles) then next one at 12000km at dealer for free (first 2 free at dealer)

One of the most low end oil filters (Fram)
