A few details : The Comanche was my first "adult" speargun and I caught a lot of nice fish with it, so I still want to keep it operational. For a friend I modified the existing closed head by filing off the protruding part and adding slots to maintain the rope around the arrow : that works but is not ideal because in that way the slots can't be made suitable for holding nylon instead of rope.

I believe you're looking for an open muzzle, but unfortunately, it's already out of production, and Cressi USA doesn't have it in stock either. As a second option, there are two choices. I apologize for providing our eBay link, but we only have closed muzzles in stock. Additionally, we may receive open muzzles in a few months, but they will be models with magnets. The magnet makes shaft setting easier, but because it's somewhat strong, you may feel a delay of about 0.1 seconds at the moment you pull the trigger, and around 0.3 seconds when the shaft reaches 3 meters (with two 14mm bands).
