Thanks for the video very helpful pretty crappy design like most things by Nissan is not a lot of slack to play around back there and once you get those cables out and put them into the new unit there's indentations in the cable and they don't hold they keep slipping out

Very helpful video. Just replaced the temp. control module on a 2015 Versa. Keep the existing cables if possible. Removing the cables from the broken unit is more difficult than re-attaching the cables to the new unit.

if you turn the cable housing a 1/4 turn, they will pop in and out much easier, there is a flat part on the end .

I’m trying to get my old one out but I can’t figure out how. There’s a big bundle of wires on the bottom and I can’t figure out how to disconnect it or how to disconnect the green, yellow, and clear coated wires that control the dials. I can’t pull it out far enough to see the clamps you showed to loosen the wires so I can slide them out and I can’t feel a release for the bundle of cables underneath. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊

What type of pliers did u use?

I used snap ring pliers to spread the plastic clips to remove the metal wire that connects to the dials

How do you get the cables out of the wiring harness post? You completely forgot that step.

Why would you need to do that to install this part? You unplug the wire harness, you don't have to remove the wires from the harness. Maybe I don't understand your question
