Great video, to simplify adding to a live site, just add the rebranded theme, as WordPress looks at it as a different theme altogether, first then activate it, then you can verify it works, then delete the Hello theme.

Hi. How about updates to the main theme? Will the Update Now button be available in the admin panel? And also, when updating, everything will return to the default settings?

Good questions. The update button will show up. When you update, everything on the site will stay the same. The only part that reverts is the name chance. These steps would have to be repeated after an update. There are very few updates with Hello Theme since it’s a bare bones theme and rare for ‘Big’ updates.

I would first check and see if the theme provides child themes, some do. If not, follow a tutorial showing how to make a child theme for any Wordpress theme.

You can use them to most but check if the theme has a connecting plugin. I found so far is Astra and Astra Pro. Astra Pro wont connect if the name is changed. From what I know with Hello Theme, the updates have to done manually by downloading the latest version and changing the name again. You wont lose any data or any pages designs by doing this. And fortunately, Hello theme rarely has to update since it's bare bones.

Sorry for the late reply, I was taking time off and back now. Were you able to find a solution? Adding multiple authors can be done using Elementor's Theme builder, no need for extra plugins

@@rehmankureshi You can create author pages in the theme builder. Create a new archive, design it as you like for the author, and then display conditions to only show for the author page. I know it's a lot to figure out. I've built a few for clients. I've added this to my list for upcoming tutorials to make.

Yah, unfortunately we need to redo this process for each update. Fortunately Hello rarely updates
