I have a G-Shock that's around 24 yrs old and it's still pretty much the same inside except display is different.

Is the white battery seal sticker important? I chucked it but now I'm not sure whether I should've.

I think you’ll be ok. If I’m not mistaken it just helped the battery stay put.

Would been better if you didn’t pull yo the module dust and fingerprints are inside. Pain to clean when I do it.

You didn't change the battery? ..if you label a video "HOW TO CHANGE THE BATTERY" I would expect to see a new battery replacing the old, especially as G-Force models have a reset to apply once a new battery has been installed.
