✅ How to change the belt of a shutter

How to change the belt or cord of a shutter that has broken.
If your shutter has broken its belt, in this video you will see how to change it for a new one.

06:30 Mount the belt on the shutter take-up spring
08:11 Check that the belt is taut and that it retracts the shutter properly.
It is a simple process for which you will need:
- Ladder
- Screwdrivers
- Cord for the blind (you have to buy the width of the tape that corresponds to the one you want to change)
- Scissors

Muchas gracias por el vídeo. En mi caso, la persiana es diferente. El rodillo donde pones el nudo no tiene agujero....cómo podría hacer? Gracias

Hola, en esa caso tienes que mirar cómo estaba la cuerda antigua que quieres cambiar. A veces, no lleva un agujero como tal, sino que es una ranura para poder introducir la cuerda. Si puedes saca el eje entero y lo podrás ver mejor

Que largura de correa debería de comprar? Hay alguna forma de saberlo son tener q soltar la correa vieja y medirla?

En las tiendas de bricolaje venden una bolsa con la correa y te da de sobras para una persiana. El ancho de la cinta si tienes que medirlo por qué hay varios
