well explained finally a video that works. By the way if you’re time machine doesn’t show up, in the file window when you double click the track click save copy of audio on desktop and “Drag it in dont import it” and time machine will work. Happy producing ❤

Thanks. Helped me a lot. At first the 'time and pitch machine' was greyed out, but then I realised I hadn't highlighted my track. I double-checked that I'd clicked the 'track' tab, too. Problem solved.

Hey man, just wanted to let you know that also found another way to do it. if you drag your audio into the project, right click and go to the tempo tab and click convert region to project tempo. Incase you didn't know this one.

I find that if I analyze it in flex Tempophone first before I change the tempo, it helps the vocals sound better after the tempo change. Mess around with it in different settings and see what works best for you,

Once you initiate time and pitch machine is there anyway to reverse it. I spent time arranging vocals in a remix. I used flex and carefully placed each vocal unfortunately in a 3 minute track only 3 small instances were the vocal slightly off. (AFTER A LOT OF WORK) I came to your video. Initiated time and pitch machine and now all the audio is completely off and basically FUCKED. Is there anyway to reverse the damage of time and pitch machine. And, if not that should be the first thing you should mention before putting this video out in the public domain of youtube. This video destroyed my vocals and track. Please tell me I can reverse it.

LOL This video destroyed your vocals? sounds like you destroyed them yourself. Delete the vocals and just bring in some fresh untouched vocals. Then just use the pitch & time on them. Then if you need to adjust them further then you can use the flex or whatever other method you want.

I changed the vocals too the tempo I wanted and the sound of the voice changed really weird . The voice sound changes when ever I Change the tempo 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ it doesn't even sound like the original same voice of the vocals. Who else has that problem and how can I fix it?

Ableton Live is the only program that can give you what you want as far as not changing the sound of the vocals

Thanks time and pitch change fucked up all the audio i had edited previously. In your video you should of said that once you initiate the time pitch change it could potential fuck up your audio and theres no way to revert back original! thanks alot`!!!!!!
