Why remove spark plug if you undo the battery? And why did you loosen the pulleys when the belt will fall right off?

The spark does not come from the battery. It comes from the magneto when the engine turns.

Dear Friends. Please, help. My left (Driver side. The one with the adjustment gear) of the deck is high. The right side (passenger side. grass outlet side) is low. When lever is on position 4, i.e. the second highest, the right side of the deck scrapes the grass! The gear is all the way up. I.e "Driver side" of the deck is all the way down, but still too high. Do I need a new deck? New tractor? Thanks in advance.

Don't buy anything made by this company, they are horrible , this is not accidentsl the replacement belt which is as stated under hood does not fit. What a waste of 2500 dollars. Hope this company goes bankrupt

I have a troy bilt broncoe 42" deck website says 96.5" 1/2" belt I literally have 3 different troy bilt mowers I bought for parts and not a single belt is interchangeable between the things I've spent about $500 in just parts for this dang thing having to replace something on this thing every single week since I've had the freaking thing and still doesn't pull quite right even tho I've replaced drive belt and adjusted the clutch numerous times. He'll I even cut an access panel through the frame so don't have to remove the gas tank and drain the oil to flip it over ever week to adjust it. Does anybody have any idea what deck belt size this stupid thing takes I'm about ready to drag this all these things across the scales for scrap and go buy a cub cadet. For anyone needing to know the drive belt size I don't know for sure bc the manufacturer doesn't even know but I found a 90" long 5/8" wide belt has worked the best so far for me with the adjustment dead center. If anyone know the size of the deck belt for this dang thing it would be greatly appreciated Thanks

This mower is a total POS. Same problem you have, no belts fit this. Hope u didn't buy a Cub cadet they are owned by mtd who makes this garbage as well. If you know the size belt can u share with me thanks
