My filter kit had one more O-ring for the dipstick. The old o rings were extremely brittle! Great video

Jim, I have been changing my oil on my 2004 Mercedes E500. Taking it to the dealer costs $350.00 +. Dealerships are way to expensive and not always honest as to what your car actually needs I don't think. Thanks for the video. Tom

is there a dipstick for the oil on the engine? My 2008 has one dipstick in the front for the transmission.

No. There's no dipstick for the transmission. You need to buy a transmission dipstick and it doesn't stay in the engine. Access is in the left rear, it has a small red cap with tabs. That dipstick in the front is for oil.

Very nice n clean job. 👍 up for good explanation. I could her though as you started the car that the compressor made a struggling sound, same thing happened to mine.. Had to change it, as it couldnt keep up the air-pressure in the airmatic system..

Always torque that drain Plug and replace the Drain plug copper Sealing washer. Otherwise nice job!

he really didnt open oil cap before he release the oil from the bottom??

You don't need to remove the oil cap to drain the oil.

I do it everytime and I am sure that all amount of oil comes out and there is no underpressure @@jimthecarguy
