Nice oil change bud! Just did the 2nd oil change on my 23 Ninja 650 the other day. Just kit 2K miles. Wanted to ask u a question-I'm sure u have heard about the "ticking" noise everyone always asks about on these bikes. I get this little backfire pop and it comes from the upper engine or air box. I only hear it when I'm coasting in gear or in gear at idle. Bike runs fine and no issues, but perplexed about what this sound is. Was thinking it may be the pair valve but don't really know. Anyways, thanks for the vids man!

Thanks Guambombrc! I have not heard of a ticking noise from the upper engine on my 2023 Ninja 650. Did you have your bike flashed? Sometimes the flash can make more backfire when they lessen the engine braking. Mine is totally stock with strong engine braking for the street. If you have a video uploaded of it on KZbin, I could listen to the noise too.

Hi @snappycattimesten! Yes, that back tire is showing some wear, but it has another 3k miles on it easy.
