I have roadside assistance coming but I do appreciate the help there because now I have the the rubber cap off and the square stud is showing for the drive to remove the spare tyre.

Last few times I called roadside assistance inside the city, it took 2 hours. Imagine being outside the city, I’d do everything. To get myself going if I had to wait that long in the heat.

Once its safely off the ground kick the top and bottom or sides to get it to break free from the surface. Then it will come right off

I wish the PT Cruisers spare was on a cord the way they got it if you lower the spare tire to far down the holding and tire will both fall on the ground.

Same thing happened to me as the vehicle was on a slight slope. Make sure to use blocks under the wheels or that stupid cheap Honda jack will tip right over!

I looks like Honda has not improved the way a spare tire is lowered/raised. What if you are traveling with your family and have luggage and cargo. You will have to empty some of your items on the side of the road to change your tire. :(

Totally raising the car wrong lol. Use the tire iron on the end of that rod and you can use two hands to wind it up and down. If you're gonna make a video, know what you're doing 😂
