Marvel's Spider-Man 2 locks you into daytime after the main story, so I'm going to show you how to change time of day in Spider-Man 2 easily, and how to change the weather in Spider-Man 2 PS5 utilising a newly-discovered glitch.

Hey everyone, my name is Octorious and in this PS5 Spider-Man 2 tips and tricks video, I show you a new Spider-Man 2 glitch which unlocks a method to be able to change the time of day in Spider-Man 2 PS5. This glitch is extremely easy to pull off, though there are still some weather and time scenarios not available via this method. Hopefully Insomniac Games release another Spider-Man 2 PS5 update soon adding a way to change the time of day and weather natively, similarly to how we could in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Why can’t they just add an option to switch from night to day?

Development on games takes a long time and they probably just didn't have the chance to add it before release and focused their efforts on the main game instead. Whilst you'd think all that needs to be done is adding a menu, each feature requires lots of QA testing each time it is altered which of course takes time. So if they add it, then find it causes an issue elsewhere in QA testing, then fix that, they then have to go through the whole QA process again and this happens with every update and change. I'm sure it will be added in the future, hopefully in the December update, but yeah it isn't something they can just work on for a day or so and call it done.

@@GottiGzz24 I know I thought you meant change it to the thunderstorm that is only mid story. No u can't, yes you can change the time whenever though, just make a manual save before doing it. There are no mysteriums that make it noon, so you'd be stuck with the times that are available. Sunset, overcast, midnight, and early morning/evening.

​@@Octoriousjust so ya know. You dont have to slow time when entering the mysterium, it works as long as there is green on your screen. And i wasn't paying attention to the countdown, but when i abandoned the mysterium after punching 2 goons and realizing "what was i doing again", it still worked

To load the save you have to quit the game, and then load game from the main menu, NOT whilst in the game as that's creating a save. As you've overwritten that original save, load a save from the main menu and see if you have a backup or auto save from when it was still day :)

From the home screen, go to the save and then load a save and see if there are any auto or backup saves from before you changed time. If not then you'll have to just put up with the 4 you can switch between until they add the feature 😅

Yes, but it can be done and you can switch between them in like less than 10 seconds, so a pretty efficient way to give us 5 different times/weather scenarios whilst we wait for a proper feature to be added :)
