Just a caution, torque spec for the drain and check bolts is 106 inch pounds, just under 9 ft lbs. Very light torque.

After you add the new transmission fluid (4quarts) you need to start your car and let it warm up to operating temperature, then shift through all the gears with your foot on the brake. Put your car in park and with your car running remove the small bolt behind the drivers side wheel on the transmission he showed you to let the excess fluid drain out. Immediately after the fluid stops draining from the small hole, install the bolt back in the hole and you're finished.

@@auck1969 Ik that I’ve done an oil change for Chevy Cruze but my question was while he was shifting through gears he just turned the car off while in drive now idk if you know but that’s not the best thing to do with ur car especially when your doing a tranny maintenance

Thanks for posting, but all that crap just to chage fluid? The designers/engineers need to be sacked. Now onderstand why the originators of this car, Australia's Holden, went broke. Bloody ridiculous.

Lol, i dont think youve ever done a transmission fluid change for other vehicles. Look up a 2010 infiniti g37 one and that doesnt have a hole to “release the extra” or a dip stick to see if you over filled it or not.

@@omgsosa7140aren’t you supposed to fill it on the side plug until it drips out? I’ve done a couple like that but I could be wrong
