Hey really nice x3. I did my x3 throughout the summer with the super atv 6" lift kit. And im loving it.

I've got around 5000 km on them now and they really are not wearing at all. Did you get your springs set OK. Or are you getting better springs. I had to replace my springs
@montanamountainutv10 ай бұрын
@RussellHill-uy9rq I will reset ride height after the first ride. I did Zbros springs on my 2020 pro xp. I like the colors on the x3 springs so if I do change it will only be the top tender spring. Or do Bilstein black hawks! Like Brian Deegan

How did it ride with the shocks adjusted
@montanamountainutvАй бұрын
Front was good, rear felt wrong to me. There is a shock bracket available for this conversion and i think that would fix it. I tried swapping springs to shock therapy in the rear, little better but I think the assembly was a little short and took away some of the up travel. Making small bumps rougher.

@montanamountainutv yes I watched to the end lol.. I just seen a set of brackets for the 64 " to 72" on marketplace ill tag you

So you don’t need 72 inch shocks ? I’m doing the conversion now and was told I need the hcr bracket or buy 72 inch shocks
@montanamountainutv7 ай бұрын
when you look up the shock part numbers by can am they are the same from 64 to 72inch machines. tender springs vary. i did not use the hcr conversion bracket but it will help with the ride height i assume. i had to adjust the rears up a bit. fronts just a little
@SalUltra8 ай бұрын
Did you use the braket adapters for the shock tower to get the 64 inch shocks to work ?
@montanamountainutv8 ай бұрын
Nope. No adapters needed. I had to adjust the rears up a bit. Fronts bolt right on. Ride height decent
@SalUltra8 ай бұрын
Im about to do a conversion and was told to use adapters that’s why I asked 👍🏻 They are saying the 64 shocks are shorter and not the same travel as the 72 that’s why adapters are needed … not sure it’s worth spending $5500+ for 72 shocks especially since we don’t do much jumping and more trail riding
@joselara64236 ай бұрын
How much cost to make it 72” if you don’t mind to tell us
@montanamountainutv6 ай бұрын
It depends on what parts and where you get them. I found like new control arms that someone took off and food HCR. So my swap was around $1,000. To buy it new would be over $4k! Look on your local market place. Good luck!
