You can get it out without removing shield or coming from behind. Just slide light toward the spring clip end and it pops out of fender at opposite end. That's how it went on mine anyway...but my gaskets may have been old and crusty to non-existent for an easier slide, lol.

seems like you have a 2001 or below non touring trim. all 2002 were the touring trim with the clear side lamps. i have a spare g20 from 99 and it has the ugggg lights but my '02 has the clears. so cleannnn

Its a 2000 and its not non Touring model but now it looks like one after all that i did to it lol

We're the clear fender markers loose? The housing itself? I just installed mine and needed to put a zip tie on it to snug it up.

+Michael Williams you need to use the rubber peace that's in the back of the original lights if not the light will be loose.

Ebay, junkyard, or look up Nismo side flasher lamp for P11 Primera, R33 Skyline, or R34 Skyline. Nismo has clear and smoked styles for both the 1999 style housing and the 2000 - 2002 housing. Just pay attention to the number and size of notched holes on the housing and make sure it lines up with the tabs on your bulb socket. I just spliced in the newer style bulb sockets onto my 1999 so I could run the clear (orange globe style) from newer P11 G20s at the junkyard. Hope that helps!
