You can also channel with only 1 defender. I understand channelling as controlling the attacker's movement with your body and stick. It's you deciding where the attacker can go and very important to protecting key areas of the pitch and slowing the attacker down. With 2 defenders, you have the cover player, to double-team (gang up on the 1 attacker). It's the best time to try and tackle, when you have more defenders. Very good video theme ☺️

@@oscar-j4d1y yeah I was thinking middle of pitch, final third, anyway high value e.g. outside the circle, baseline etc Tbh stopping any straight line movement from an attacker and pushing towards the outside of the pitch, forcing a longer route, moving attackers towards more limited areas of space (e.g. sideline) are IMHO good defensive behaviours. 5 Ds: delay, deny, disrupt, dictate, dispossess
