I totally agree with flat fee pricing and I've learned to not feel bad if someone turns me down for being priced to high for them. If they can't afford you, you don't want them as a client!

I can't say exactly what you should be charged. A lot depends on the type of business you have, volume of transactions, number of bank and credit card accounts, whether you use PayPal or Stripe or other payment processors, and the complexity of your bookkeeping.

How do you price a client opening a brand new business?

I don't work with clients who are opening a brand new business. But, I would charge my minimum fee (which is normally too high for a brand new business).

I usually charge a client 50 cents for every transaction when I do Bookkeeping and Accounting. I don't trust myself charging by the hour, for the very reason such as someone said I write slow. However, I believe what you said, in the video, makes sense.
