@@vkjfv most high end EVs can charge over 200kw. Only very few cheap EVs have slow charge rates. Like the leaf.

Most people don't have high end. They just catering to majority. Also most high end ev is charged at home or free. This is for people who need it. It's not your main source of charge

@@M1528A if high end cars are charged at home, there's no point in making them be able to charge at 350kw does it? No home charger works at 350kw. The whole point of a street charger is a quick top up.

@@RR-us2kp 2 things here first fast makes them convenient. Secondly it's to allow long distant travel. High end cars have between 300 to 600 miles range. Model s - Roadster 2 They charge either at home or on the fastest charging networks. They do not use it as their primary charge unless it's free. So unless your saying most ev owners have roadster 2 then I take it all back. . Fact is most ev owners don't have high end. Model 3 and y are not high end they are mid. Anything that is less than 200 miles range is low and anything less that 100 is entry.

Avoid if at all possible. The most consistently unreliable public charging network in the UK, in my experience. Also comparatively expensive, in the event you actually secure a charge.

Foolish not to be able to work it out yourself or read about it #lazyfool 🤣- every car has different battery's, like a phone so there isn't one answer for all. Most EV's take 45-60 minutes on a ultra fast charge.

As an ev owner moving back to petrol .. it does by alot .. 1000 miles for 190 gbp in my mg4 and that's on a cheaper tariff than bp pulse .. vs 120 for 1000 miles in new vauxhall astra

​@marekkompus6109 no worries only worth going electric if you don't mind having max of 280 miles as even 320 mile equivalents drop to about 280 in winter and if you don't mind the inconvenience of charging times . And definitely only worth it if you have a charger installed at home even then you are talking about 6 hours to charge it, also you need to be on an ev tariff for electricity or you won't get it cheap enough to make a difference
