How to check and identify Resealed Japanese Booster Box (VSTAR Universe Version)

Is it possible to tell the difference between a normal and a resealed Japanese booster box? How do you tell the difference? We've got a 1 of each and test out whether this is possible or not!

One difference I see is that when opening the pack, the non resealed packs have the 4 shinnies at the end and the resealed packs have them not at the end.

I just got a resealed box from a seller that usually is reliable on terastal festival and I know it’s resealed I just didn’t know it was possible on Japanese packs but I just can’t figure out how they did it

@ probably not the seller swears they didn’t know and refuses to answer me and getting ahold of eBay is an almost impossible task. I’ve been searching for hours on how they did it bc I’ve never had it happen to Japanese packs like that I have no idea how they got the cards in the packs. The back side flap where the side meet were open when I opened the box but the crimp looks really good so I don’t understand how they did it.

is there a print run of vstar unniverse that has the strip tab thing? I saw a seller selling boxes with the strip tab, the same type as the shiny treasure ones

I think there is, its a new print run where it has the pull strips. BTW, do you have any tips on how to make sure my vmax climax box is real? Im trying to collect all the sword and shield special set boxes for a sealed collection.@@ferzap4c

Do you still have a sealed resealed box? Does it have tiny holes on its front and back to allow air into it? Legit boxes will always have this, but I don't know about the resealed ones.

I think still obvious when tampered. The ribbing on the shrink wrap ive never seen anyone replicate and if that happens there never will be a way to tell

@@ferzap4c I've never bought a complete case before and would not know what to look for and who to safely buy from. I no longer will buy any box from Amazon as so many have been tampered. I've tried other Japanese shops recently like mecca Japan and snkrdunk. Who do you trust most for boxes? My old lgs before I moved had safe boxes covered until recently. Seen/opened hundreds if not thousands and from that experience know a fake from not fairly well. I will say the new sets have lower quality on shrink and not as clean around but that's about it.

I have a bow with a flat bottom and pull tabs and also a box with a foldable bottom and no pull tabs. Are these different prints runs or maybe a fake?

Maybe different print run although I don’t really remember VStar universe has the pull tab. Pull tab was introduced for SV sets

I need to know this cause my partner bought me one for christmas and was going to buy another one for a complete 20 card booster box. The numbers are on the flap are clear as day and marked down between the gold and silver boarder when opening the flap. Is this ok?

Do you know if, for this final reprint of vstar universe, they changed the boxes? I just got a single box delivered and the bottom is solid, it doesn't have the flaps like in this video. Is that indicative of anyting?

No final confirmation on the VStar reprint. We suspecting that there should be at least 1 more. As for the pack, I really can’t tell unless I see pics

The ones with the solid bottom and the tab that requires you peel it in order to open the box are from the last few reprints (post the triple beat). So it's just an indicator of a newer print run.
