ধরো তুমি ১০ টা কলেজে Apply করেছো, আর চান্স পেয়েছো ৫ নম্বর কলেজে, সেক্ষেত্রে নীচের ৬-১০ নং কলেজে যদিও চান্স পাও সেখানে ভর্তি হতে পারবে না,কেননা ওর থেকে Higher preference এর একটা কলেজে তোমার seat allotment হয়েছে। তাই 6-10 নম্বর কলেজে show করবে Allotted in higher preference.

এই মুহূর্তে সেটা আর সম্ভব না । সেকেন্ড রাউন্ডে আবারও preference list ক্রিয়েট করার অপশন দিবে, তখন নতুন করে আবারো preference লিস্ট ক্রিয়েট করবে এবং যদি ফাঁকা থাকে তাহলে allotted হয়ে যাবে। তবে বর্তমানে যে কলেজে চান্স পেয়েছো সেই সিটটা তোমার জন্য আর available থাকবে না। তাই এখন যত নম্বর কলেজে চান্স পেয়েছো এডমিশন নিয়ে আপগ্রেড অপশন ইয়েস করে রাখলে ওপরের কলেজ গুলো অর্থাৎ এক দুই ও তিন নম্বরের preference এর কলেজ গুলোতে upgrade হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা থাকবে, কিন্তু পরের ৫,৬,৭,৮... এই কলেজগুলোতে এই round আর কোনমতেই সম্ভব না

অ্যালোটেড মানে হচ্ছে, ধরো তুমি দশটা কলেজ সিলেকশন করেছিলে তার মধ্যে ৬ নম্বর কলেজে চান্স পেয়েছো (Allotted হয়েছো) , তাহলে নিচের সমস্ত কলেজগুলোতে (৭-১০ no college) allotted in higher preference দেখাবে, এর মানে নিজের কলেজ গুলোতেও তোমার চান্স আছে কিন্তু সব থেকে হায়েস্ট preference এ allotted হয়েছো। আর Moved to higher preference means তোমার হাইয়েস্ট preference এ Moved হয়েই আছে।
