Bada lab kya hota hai? their are many so called labs in city like Jaipur, Delhi, Kolkata where no professionals and gemologist available neither they have necessary testing equipments. They only print a card type with gems pics and handed it over to their customer in penny prices and of course some black hat stone seller prefer these so called labs one due to cheap rate and another mainly they get the card(not Gem Certificate) as per their choice. In kolkata, their are really some unbiased genuine private labs like Indian Gemological Identification, Kolkata Gem Testing Laboratory etc

ভালো বলেছেন কিন্তু কিছু কথা না উল্লেখ করলে পুরো ব্যাপারটা clear হবে না | যেমন বেশীরভাগ lab report এই RI, SG আর stones Diameter mention করা থাকে কিন্তু এগুলো দিয়ে Natural Stones থেকে look alike stones গুলোকে পৃথক করা সম্ভব হলেও Man made Synthetic stones কে পৃথক করা সম্ভব নয় ৷ তার জন্য প্রয়োজন specific inclusion গুলো কে mention করা যেমন : Finger print inclusion, Zircon Helos বা Rutile inclusion, etc. আর Spectroscopy test report না হলে কোন report ই report বলে গন্য হবে না |
