How To Check if a File Exists Using Jenkins

I have to perform two operations like A & B , 1. if I have my directory it have to proceed with operations success and move to next operation B Note: here if my branch is not there it's failing and not moving to next operation B , so please let me know if we don't have branch also it have to just print message "no dir and moving to next operation B"

Is there a possibility to check if any data is inside a folder ? With File exists you have to address a certain file.
