Using mult meter seld comprssor terminals c.s and R are identified by measuring the resistance ohms bet ween the terminals using multy metarir campmetar the resistance of ruing windingis low while that of starting windingis high when the multy metr pords are conneacting to terminals R and c resistance of ruing winding or the lowest reistance indicated when the podes are connecting to terminals Rands total resistance of both windingis indicated when the yerminals c and s are connected to the metr the resisttance of starting windingis indicated betweenthe terminals Rand s and the loest resistanecis inddicated bet ween Rand c.
