I work in Kwikfit Tyres one of big Tyre sellers in the UK. This brothers information is 100% accurate. Very glad to know that its happening in pakistan. In UK 1.6mm is minimum.

Which Kwikfit branch are you working in? sorry to say wrong info @ 04:24, 79 is the load index which is equal to 437kg. T is the speed rating index which is equal to 118mph generally for city cars (or winter tyres because of soft rubber compound) and @ 04:58, 83 is load index of 487kg and V does not mean recommended tyre pressure but it is also speed index of 149mph.

I love Pakwheels... Just as FYI 79 T doest mean 79miles/H. For this there is code list you need to google it. 79 means max load capacity and T is a code for max speed limit. 79T means 437KGs max load which is also written on tyre. And code T means 190km/h. Or 118miles per hour.

In addition to what wat mr. Waqas said, he also did not mention tirewear, traction and temperature rating. Rotation of asymmetrical pattern. And ECE rating that includes noise level, wet traction, and rolling resistance for fuel efficiency . Plus people must me educated about smuggle tyres with bended beads (bead is responsible for holding tyre on rim) blue area is full of smuggle tyres. I can explain them all

Firstly, its called aspect ratio, not aspect radial. Secondly, 79 is the load index and T is a seperate thing and is called the speed rating. Some basic research before making videos will ensure better content for the public. Regards.

Thumbs up bro,for broad casting such a nice information for all the car users in Pakistan. actually all of your information is very informative and accurate,except the load index.we as a drivers who are driving in Pakistan,should know theses basic tips and information,specially while purchasing new or even used tires for replacement. actually this comes the responsibility of vehicle testing authorities(which is a sub part of police-and unfortunately it is ignored)if you see all the countries like UAE,the rules are very strict for vehicle testing specially the age of tires should not exceed more than two years. this is a nice step to give awareness and basic knowledge,which is not even in the reach of Pakistani driver,and it is very good for the safety of vehicle and self.
