I'm running across the same maybe it's timing maybe it's he has to be up against the wall 🤔. I can get him to freeze like the gna glitch. But when the axe gets thrown at the end of the "targeting" sequence of the rune he un freezes. Maybe the explanation is just bad and that's why it isn't working as intended 🤔 🤷‍♂️

Yeah don't forget either sometime that he f****** glitches like most of the f****** bosses in this game bosses end up sometimes not taking no damage and you have to restart your game.. there are even some people on Reddit said when they were fighting the valkyrie Queen there is some cases where she wasn't even taken damage and she was interrupting your abilities every time you try to pop an ability she would throw you off the f****** map almost.. the AI in this game is really f****** aggressive seriously it was never like this and God of war 2018 it's like a KZbinr told Eric Williams the director of god of war Ragnarok to make the boss is much more tankier

Guess I am the only one who has ever played god of war and cant even get him to 2 bars of health

I got him to one bar of health and then he cheated. He is never able to run away when I attack him in wrath mode. Atleast the first couple of hits. But on his last health bar he was not only able to run away (in weird slow mo) and then he zipped past me like a train and I was dead. LOL. Havent tried facing him since then. Will try again in a few weeks.

@@BlakkuXero gameplay settings, look for mini bosses checkpoint, enable it. When you fighting this boss and valkyrie, you will have the opportunity to fight them with half of the life if they kill you, however, you have to runout the half of their health bar to get it. Try it.

Berserkers and Gna are not affected by your difficulty level. They are gonna be extremely difficult irrespective of your difficulty level. And dont even think about trying to face them with upgraded weapons and armor in NG+ mode. They adjust to your new levels and are way more difficult (extra tricks up their sleeve) than the normal game.
